A general practice attorney is a lawyer who handles a broad range of legal matters rather than focusing on one narrow specialty. General practice attorneys often assist individuals and small businesses with common legal needs such as contracts, business formation, real estate transactions, estate planning, family law matters, and civil disputes. Their wide-ranging experience allows them to provide practical legal guidance, identify potential issues early, and either resolve matters efficiently or refer clients to a specialized attorney when a case requires more focused expertise.
